Our LEED Achievements

Ciment Québec Inc. has participated in a number of projects that have received the prestigious LEED certification.


LEED Canada-NC – Gold?

Sobeys distribution centre, certified in 2010. ??The distribution centre for refrigerated products is the first of its kind in Canada. Roller-compacted concrete (RCC) was used for the truck-loading and –unloading areas. This concrete, especially its formulation, has contributed to obtaining credits toward LEED certification.

Ciment Québec Inc. provided the expertise in RCC and cement.


LEED Canada-NC – Gold?

The Normand-Maurice building in Montréal certified 2009. ??The Normand-Maurice building is a green Canadian government building.

The concrete was provided by Unibéton.                                                              


LEED Canada-SC v2 – Silver?

Carrefour Saint-David in Beauport with merchants such as Starbucks, Metro, TD Canada Trust, Subway, Uniprix, McDonald’s.

The First Capital building was certified in 2009.

The concrete was provided by Unibéton.


LEED Canada-NC v2 – Silver ?

Biology Pavilion at the Université du Québec à Montréal certified in 2007.

The concrete was provided by Unibéton.


LEED Canada-NC – Gold?

Cirque du Soleil’s Tohu, certified in 2005.

The concrete was provided by Unibéton.
